Podcasts are a great way to kill time, and with the PHP Abstract podcast now discussing your favourite language in plain English, there’s never been a better time to get a portable media device and listen in to a podcast.

PHP Abstract is a podcast by Cal Evans and the Zend Developer Zone. Episodes cover topics such as security, code tools, project planning, book reviews and even interviewing developers. Many episodes feature a special guest who talks about a topic of their expertise. It’s a great way to learn something new, and some of the episodes are just full of invaluable information for every PHP developer.
