CELLPADDING = integer

Usage Recommendation
thumbs up use it

illustration of CELLPADDING attributeCELLPADDING sets the amount of space (both horizontal and vertical) between the cell wall and the contents. The default value for CELLPADDING (i.e., if you don't use the attribute at all) is 1. So, for example, the following examples demonstrate CELLPADDING when it is absent, when it it set to 1, and when it is set to 10.

this code produces this
<TABLE BORDER>

walnutsalmonds
<TABLE BORDER CELLPADDING=1>
peachescherries
walnutsalmonds
<TABLE BORDER CELLPADDING=10>
