Valve hardware survey summary

In August this year, Valve started a massive hardware survey of the users of its Steam online game distribution system. The survey which was last updated in September, features over 800,000 different hardware configurations obtained from participants of the online survey. After a quick sweep of the survey we can estimate that the average PC has a 2Mbps broadband connection, between 256-512MB
