PEAR_Registry::updatePackage()

PEAR_Registry::updatePackage() -- Update Package information

Synopsis

require_once 'PEAR/Registry.php';

boolean PEAR_Registry::updatePackage (string $package, array $info [, bool $merge = TRUE])

Updates the existing information of a Package in the registry.

string $package: Package name
array $info: information to update
mixed $merge: if FALSE the old informations will be deleted completly an replaced with the new; if TRUE update only - unchanged values will remain.

boolean - Returns TRUE on success, FALSE on failure.
