Mathematical FunctionsIntroductionThese math functions will only handle values within the range of the integer and float types on your computer (this corresponds currently to the C types long resp. double). If you need to handle bigger numbers, take a look at the arbitrary precision math functions. See also the manual page on arithmetic operators. RequirementsNo external libraries are needed to build this extension. InstallationThere is no installation needed to use these functions; they are part of the PHP core.
