I have just installed Photoshop CS4 and am having a weird problem. Whenever I create a new document the layer shows up with black and white triangles and they wont go away. If I open a new image they are there on the image and it doesnt allow me to remove them. How can I fix this?

I have saved all my files to an external drive except my Firefox bookmarks.
