How can I create Photoshop Brushes?

Hi, I am still fairly new to photoshop but would like to create my own set of brushes. How can I create them?

Hi Emily,
PhotoShop can do some very cool effects and designs with the additions of customized brushes. Here are two good tutorials I found that describe the steps involved in an easy to follow yet complete manner.
