Hi, I am still fairly new to photoshop but would like to create my own set of brushes. How can I create them?

Hi Emily,
PhotoShop can do some very cool effects and designs with the additions of customized brushes. Here are two good tutorials I found that describe the steps involved in an easy to follow yet complete manner.

The first one is from bittbox and can be found here:
http://www.bittbox.com/photoshop/how-to-make-a-photoshop-brush

This is from Nikibrown:

I hope these help and if you do create your own brush post a picture of it in the comments so I can see.

Magneto.
