  • Order (or just read more about) SSH- The Secure Shell from Amazon.com

(If you have no idea what ssh is all about, see Basics-ssh for an introduction)

Everything you'd ever need to know about SSH. Well written, very complete- I liked this book! Some of the Amazon reviwers weren't quite so happy with it (one found the lack of NT coverage disappointing), but I enjoyed it start to end. I particularly liked that important concepts were always well explained and not just glossed over.

This covers both sides of ssh- the server and the user side, so whether you are administering a ssh server or just using ssh to access another site, you'll find useful information.
