Autache is an application written in Perl (CGI) that will create user requested accounts. Autache generates a password and emails it the the user to guarantee the user provides a ligitimate email address when registering. In addition to the registration process autache also handles failed logins giving the user a chance to register if they have not registered before or get their password re-emailed to them. Benefits of using autache include advanced website logging (know not only the IP address but also the email address of your user), Greet your user with their name, email address, and other information, and restrict access by user.
