STOCK MARKET TICKER DELUXE
This applet displays stock quotes and news in real-time in a scrolling ticker tape. [NOTE: you can also think of news as messages, for example some text you want to place among the stocks. The applet is fully configurable and this readme is ment to present all the features that it can offer, therefore we will use news term along this file, but you can also take it as message] The applet gets data from two web URLs - server side scripts and/or txt files, and refreshes this info at the periods you can set from HTML parameters. Quote trend affects value color and arrows. Applet comes with yahoo feed script and sample xml file for news, but you can build your own feeds for both. The order in which stocks and news are displayed is set from applet HTML parameter 'symbols' which accepts stocks symbols and news ids, comma separated. There is a relation between stocks feed and news feed output and applet values for some parameters like symbols and fields. See section 6.
