What OOP is This is a lot simpler than some people would like you to believe. They like to use the more complicated definitions because it makes them sound more intelligent than they really are. Here is the real definition: Object Oriented Programming is programming which is oriented around objects, thus taking advantage of Encapsulation, Polymorphism, and Inheritance to increase code reuse and decrease code maintenance.
