Published by:  Back-up and recovery have long been a troublesome IT responsibility, traditionally receiving only cursory management attention, thus providing inadequate resources necessary to make actual data protection and business process recovery meet corporate requirements. Certainly, there has been increased awareness due to ongoing environmental, infrastructure and threat issues. The requirements of compliance, accountability and regulation will, over the next two to three years, finally push enterprises of all sizes to begin the transition to fully accountable data protection and business process recovery. |
