Best-in-Class Practices for Virtualizing Microsoft Applications

Published by: ![]() In July, 2010 Aberdeen conducted a survey to learn how organizations are deploying Microsoft applications on a virtualized infrastructure. They identified those organizations that reported Best-in-Class results and investigated how they are getting superior returns for their investments. Companies with superior results are virtualizing most, if not all of their applications, including large Microsoft enterprise applications. Also leaders view storage as an integral part of a virtualization project. They utilize the efficiency capabilities of storage arrays: de-duplication, for primary as well as backup and archives, and snapshots. |
